2nd hunt of the season for me. I’m in some thick pines close to some oaks and have a little bit of sweat going. Good luck everybody.

Me and my son are here, we both had a couple moving before shooting light and I just had a fox come through.

This spot is pouring acorns. Lots of deer and hog sign. Most of the trees have mud rubbed on the side of them. Hopefully, I can stick my first piggy!

Woke up late. Flew to club. Almost crapped my pants. Not a good morning so far. But it could always be worse. Beautiful morning listen to rain on this shooting house.

My first sit. Loosened up my belt so I could breath better and my Taurus Judge slips off and tumbles 25 feet to the ground. Skeeters have found me. We will see how much more I can stand. At least the wind is good.

First sit of the year. Raining but other than that it is peaceful. Seen some turkeys so far.

First sit of the year for me. Hardwood ridge that butts up against some thick pines. I’ve got five white oaks within 30yds that are all raining acorns. Have had two big bucks on camera here the last few weeks so I’m hoping their hungry this morning.

Me and my 11 year old are in the woods for the first time this year. Had one to slip by still too dark for shot. But still enjoying the outdoors. Got 5 decent racks on camera where we’re sitting maybe one will step out. Good luck fellas

It's deer season so I just had 4 turkeys walk in and start feeding underneath me. Go figure.

Started out with a drizzling rain that has subsided, sitting in a group of swamp chestnut oaks boarding a pine plantation and thick swamp. Nothing but squirrels so far
