Killed a big male ,32 pounds, that came in to my turkey calling. Crossed a creek making a sound like “ errrope”, thought it was a bullfrog til I spotted him, 5 steps. Spotted one bathing itself on a windy October day on the edge of a sage field when I was still hunting. I leaned into a pine and drew, then lip squeaked. It was maybe 30 steps away and stepped out toward me and there appeared two others behind it that passed it when it sat down again. They moved up to 15 steps and sat down. My arrow went through both shoulder blades and the 17 pound cat still went 40 yards before curling up under a log.

Does it have much power? Always been skeptical of those things. How long do the battereis last before they crap out.
