Where are all of you guys that said, “Saban will get feed up with his interceptions and bench him, Saban wants a game manager, someone who protects the ball and doesn’t turn it over. Tua will throw to many interceptions to be Alabama’s QB.”

He has 21 touchdowns and 0 interceptions halfway through the season.

Based on what we saw of him last year and his performance in the ncg I did expect him to throw a bunch of pics. Based on his performance in the first 6 games he looks incredible. Last nights game looked like some pics are possible still but all in all he has done great! I never thought he could not get away with pics in a lot of the games as they are so lopsided and a pic would not have mattered in the first 7 games but a pic may still cost us big time in a 1 possession game late if we ever get in that situation. He has done tremendous and really been fun to watch and I sure hope he keeps it up and stays healthy.

His inaccuracy last night was most likely due to his knee injury. Not being able to fully plant and drive off your back leg will cause the problems he had.

Tua has a partially torn meniscus and needs a knee scope...if so, he will be out 3/4 weeks...really bad time to have this done but idk what they will do

I don’t think I’ve ever talked bad about either player. I defend Jalen last season. But I never spoke negatively about Tua.

Where did this come from? Haven't heard a thing from Saban about this. All I've heard is sprained knee. Actually, I wish they would shut him down until the LSU game. That would give him 3 weeks to rest the knee. We should be able to beat TN with Jalen and Mac Jones.

I've seen a couple comments made about his knee being scoped. Honestly, I bet it was scoped yesterday and they cleaned up anything that was partially torn (meniscus is what I've heard). Out 2-3 weeks. If I had to guess, mri showed the partial tear and they said "we can go in now and you're out 2-3 weeks or we can shoot it and brace it and you can play thru the pain if you want". He tried, and it didn't work. Get it cleaned and healed and be ready for lswho.

Be specific, guys, where are you hearing this? If your talking about fan message boards, well they're not real reliable. Somebody knows somebody that used to babysit for the guy that cleaned the pool for the lady that walked Saban's dog.

One of the message boards has talked in a complete circle from sprain to scope back to sprain.....all from "reliable" sources.........Saban's new conference should shed some light.....

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if he sat out the game this weekend. LSU is looming with a lot of confidence and skills and we need to have everybody healthy as possible. If we can win down there, we should be in Atlanta in December. If we lose, it gets interesting for the West.
