For a light I bought an LED string light with remote off Amazon. Been installed and working great for bout 2 years so far. It plugs in to the receptacle inside my safe and I ran the strip of lights around the inside edge of the inner door edge. Remote is velcro’d To the door. I want to add a pressure switch so it turns on when I open the door but the remote works great for now. Since the strip runs all the way around the interior front edge it lights up every shelf very well.

a 25 watt or 40 watt bulb left on all the time will put out enough heat to keep humidity out or you can buy the dehumidifiers like Goldenrod.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Before I lost all my guns in the great flood of '69 I kept 2 cans of silica gel desiccant in the safe. One on top shelf and one in the very bottom. They're rechargeable but after 6+ years of use I never had to recharge them. Similar to this ---- click here

Golden rod works well for me. 40% average humidity is more than I can ask for in this subtropical climate.

I bought some light strips off Amazon, they seem to do all I need.

I’ve got a 25 watt incandescent bulb in mine. Works great, and no humidity issues at all.

I’ve got a 25 watt incandescent bulb in mine. Works great, and no humidity issues at all. So you just run a simple light bulb 24/7/365 and the heat from the bulb keeps humidity good enough that rust isn't an issue?
