Definitely in the white oak family. All white oaks have rounded lobes and all red oaks have pointed lobes. Sure. But deer don’t care about genus/species. They want the good akerns. A white oak or swamp chestnut oak is preferred over a post oak. Despite being in the white oak fambly.
