Exact same canned response I got from him, and he needn't worry, I won't hesitate to email him again. So I sent this earlier... Mr. Jones, I'm disappointed, though not surprised, that you have announced you'll vote "no" with regards to Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court. I also find you to be disingenuous and dishonest when you say that you carefully considered Judge Kavanaugh's career and reputation to come to the conclusion that you would vote no. As a democrat, you knew to begin with that you would toe the party policy and obstruct President Trump's every action no matter what it is, and as a representative of the people of Alabama, you have ignored or betrayed the majority of your constituency in favor of your own personal preference. So be aware that I, along with many thousands of Alabamians, will do my best to ensure that your tenure as Senator for Alabama is recognized for the aberration it is in 2020, and that you are a "one and done" Senator. I had hoped that if we had to have a democrat for a Senator, then at least we might be fortunate enough to have a moderate democrat. I've since come to believe that there is no longer such a thing as a moderate democrat...as a party you believe it is perfectly acceptable to destroy the reputation of a fine man and his family with contemptible and unproven accusations from an unreliable source, simply because you don't like the man who nominated him, and that's actually one of the lesser grievances a growing number of people have with the radical direction the democrat party has moved towards in recent years. Of course, since allegations of sexual assault are what put you in the Senate, I don't suppose you'd have any problem with using them to keep someone out of the Supreme Court. Enjoy Washington, Mr. Jones, but don't get too comfortable.

Excellent letter Klayne, doubt Jones will read it or even consider it. He is a one and done just like you said in the letter. I should run against him, it would be an easy win.

I'd vote for you! 'Huntress says "...he likely gets attaboy letters, too..." and I said that makes it even more important that he get letters like mine, then.
