Anyone have experience with the Leupold vx-6's? I saw a decent deal on a 2-12x42.

What do they cost? NF just released their SHV 3-10X42 with illuminated Forceplex. The Leupold will likely serve you well if you sight it in and forget about it. The NF is built to a higher standard.

Good buy with excellent light transmission. I would get it if it suits your hunting needs.

There's lots of options around $700. Are you looking at the ill model?

I have the 3-18 -50 hd with firedot reticle.

It's as clear and as sharp a scope as I've ever owned. Has a return to zero feature on both turrets and you can send you ballistic info to leupold and they will send you an elevation turret with yardage markers on it for free.

I'm not sure, I saw it in an email flyer from a local store. All it said was vx-6

VX-6 is a fine fine scope. The illuminated one is the best low light Scope I’ve ever used.
I’ve dialed mine back and forth from a 200 yard zero out to a 500 yard zero piddling around on the range and never had any trouble with the tracking.
