And a “scent cone” probably not too accurate but neat how it shows the scent area depending on wind speed. The wind direction is spot on. I have been sitting and the wind changes within a few minutes of when the apps shows a change. I am referring to HuntStand

I use HuntStand I haven’t been able to justify the cost of onX

Does the Hunstand show wind direction at each stand location ? yes it shows it at any location you tap on its free install it and play around takes a while to figure out but once you get it its awesome i use it to map trails mark anything i want even mark and measure acreage of fields check wind weather and moon phases its 10.99 a year if you want the extra features like unlimited parcel info but i used the free version for years

I have used scoutlook, huntstand, onx(mobile),onx(desktop). If you hunt public land very much..onx is the absolute best money you will ever spend...i highly reccomend putting it on a high quality cellphone or mobile device tho.

I use huntstand about 5 years ago but it had constant issues then so I swapped to "onX" paid the subscription every year since. I hunt public land 95% of the time and as far as property lines, and what not you can't beat it. I like to mark a rub line then zoom the map out. Me and my brother hunt together alot so I mark spots on the map where I dropped him off or spots we scouted before season. That and the map downloads so cell service doesn't effect it

Yeah OnX is the best I've found, I did the free 7 day trial or whatever it was, very helpful. The subscription is $99/annual or $14.99/month for all states in the US. I think they had a 1 state package that might've been a little less expensive. They do have one state only packages. I only hunt Alabama so I only pay for the Alabama package for the year. The only thing I wish it had was the weather, lunar, and wind like huntstand has. Those things are the only thing I liked about huntstand when i used it years ago the wind direction what they called huntzone seemed pretty accurate

It's like $29.95 a year (2.50 per month) for 1 state OR $17.99 on Camofire right now. I'm guessing they will charge shipping for sending you the code not sure. Call camofire and they will answer that. I use it year round checking places to hunt
