I need to get some clover, oats, rape, and rye grass for our fall plots. Anyone have good info on prices/places near Alabaster? Thanks! Trey

Universal or central seed both just outside Bham. Cereal rye (not rye grass) was 21ish a bag.

Check with Coosa Valley milling in Wilsonville. I have no idea their prices but when I hunted that area we would get seed there. https://coosavalleymilling.com/

Go out 26 to the T with 70 and go left onto 70. The co-op is on the left before the RR tracks. Lots of seed mixes down there.

None of my business, but you couldn't pay me to plant ryegrass in a food plot. Deer will eat it if they have no other choice but its not preferred. The main reason I avoid it is that you will never get rid of it and over time it gets dominant and will choke out grains that you plant with it. I've been battling ryegrass in food plots that was planted in pastures 15 years ago and it's still winning I agree

Garrison Farm Supply in Thorsby. The oldest son and I went there last weekend. That’s a neat store. Definitely worth checking out.
