I have been using a NEBO micro flashlight. It is 360 lumens and has an adjustable beam from spot to flood and is about the size of my index finger. At $15 a piece I have several that I keep in my house, truck and hunting pack. Plus it has a magnetic base for looking under the hood.
Great little light.

I carry a Streamlight stylus with me everywhere...It's the size of a fat ink pen, and uses 2 AAA batteries. It's bright too!

Go to Walmart and there should be a area with stuff sold on TV. Get one of the torch flash lights. It a good light for the money 20$. Has a slideable head that goes from flood to spot. It also has hi/low/ sos/strobe. It the ones you see from bell and howell. I bought one of their head lamps that has those same features. I really like it, but the battery pack being on the back of your head makes it uncomfortable if you have to lay under something looking up. Other than that, it's a great light

https://www.danforce.com/products/5000-headlamp This light was given to me as a gift. It is possibly the best thing anyone ever gave me. It's rechargeable batteries last forever. Only charged it twice since I received it and use it almost everyday. It has an adjustable beam and will shine a good 200 yds. My stream light work flashlight don't hold a candle to this thing.
