My favorite daily carry light is the Coast HX5. 350 Lumens on a single AA battery and lens will slide to adjust from spot to flood. $10-15/eBay.

Streamlight 1L/1AA.
Can use both lithium 123s or a AA battery.
Pocket clip works well and can be used on a hat bill with the same clip.

They did just release several models that are rechargeable from a micro USB.

I have been using a NEBO micro flashlight. It is 360 lumens and has an adjustable beam from spot to flood and is about the size of my index finger. At $15 a piece I have several that I keep in my house, truck and hunting pack. Plus it has a magnetic base for looking under the hood.

Great little light.

I've had good luck out of the ozark trail ones. I've got one that's a couple years old I use everyday.

I like coast, led lenser, streamlights, fenix. All good lights. Can't beat coast and streamlights for warranty. Check out www.brightguy.com . You can search by lumen, battery type, bulb or led.

I carry a Streamlight stylus with me everywhere...It's the size of a fat ink pen, and uses 2 AAA batteries. It's bright too!

I bought one of their head lamps that has those same features. I really like it, but the battery pack being on the back of your head makes it uncomfortable if you have to lay under something looking up. Other than that, it's a great light

This light was given to me as a gift. It is possibly the best thing anyone ever gave me. It's rechargeable batteries last forever. Only charged it twice since I received it and use it almost everyday. It has an adjustable beam and will shine a good 200 yds. My stream light work flashlight don't hold a candle to this thing.

Coast lamps are great. I especially like their headlamps. I own that one in the pic and it's a good one too.

Hard to beat a Maglite 2-D cell LED with a belt holster to carry it in.

Shopping strictly the numbers that is a terrible value. 23oz(HEAVY) 168 lumens(WEAK) $27(Not bad)
http://www.maglite.com/shop/maglite-2-cell-d-led-flashlight.html

You can something that is way more powerful, weighs 75% less, multiple intensity settings, fits in a pocket for similar money.
