Looking at picking one up and converting to ilf limbs, is this worth the effort?

Id hop on over to trad talk and have a look see if i could find a warfed riser...thats all youd really be buyin anyway. I think all you gotta do to get ilf limbs to fit on one is replace a bushing...its been awhile since ive read up on it. If its a heck of a deal tho go for it.

It’s not a great deal , I just found one in 60lb range for $290. I thought it might be cool to mess around with and ordering some ilf limbs but looking limbs up I see they ain’t real cheap so it probably not worth the hassle. Besides I have a bear takedown I can order limbs for at about the same price.

Well keep a warf bow in mind...theys ome out there for 200 or less dollars that will smoke alot of factory bows. And they are makin them ilf compatible, just do you some research and ask some questions. They're are some bad nasty bows bein fabbed out of old compound risers.

My son had the Trex riser and Samick Black max limbs a few yrs back.
Not real expesnsive.
Lot guys like the old Black Bear risers that have been warfed.
Sam Dunham on Tradtalk could probably lead you in the right direction.
