Some friends have been out looking and have seen a few, but not anything g to get real excited about. If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.

Looks like this season may end up like the last 3-4 seasons. Hardly any birds in the area. It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

Water levels in the delta are very high. Saw some on a mud flat a couple weeks ago and saw a decent group earlier in the week. Saw a group flying this morning from probably a quarter mile away. Seen a few fresh brushed blinds this morning with absolutely no ducks nearby with the exception of a few wood ducks.

But, a couple years ago I went to bushog around my duck hole and was supprised to find it covered with bluewings. I finished the work and it came to me season opened the next day. I put it to good use.
