I’d take Oct 15-20th off.
I’ve had more mature buck encounters on the first 3 days of the season than any other time, including the rut. Summertime patterns and unpressured deer are a lot easier to kill.

Take off the 6t, 5th, and 4thday before the full moon...wait three days after the full moon and then take off the next 3....Best 6 days of the year...02...YMMV...
