EuroOptic has come into some more Tikka T3s that they've got on sale.
Snagged a synthetic 243 display model for Morgan for $368 shipped.

Those are good deals! I wish they had another 243 synthetic.

They've got a 30-06 at the same price. But I'm sure if you're wanting a 243 probably not too interested in a significantly larger caliber for the role/person.

I love a 243, im a wuss when it comes to rifle recoil. I don’t like it one bit. I’m sitting here debating on buying the tikka hunter in 243 with the wood stock.

No shame in that. I don't go out of my way to get beat up with recoil. I'm a big fan of 6-7MM cartridges.
The Ruger American in 243 it is replacing is for sale.

The tikka in .308 isn’t bad at all, my youngest has been shooting mine since he was 8.

I was thinking maybe the 308 compact they have but #1 she's comfortable with her 243 and #2 $359 VS $429.

Thanks for sharing this. I’m holding strong and resisting the temptation to buy another caliber.

Not sure I'd be advertising that on an open forum.

You were going to transfer it to him thru an FFL anyways, so it's fine.

Well the 243 ended up oversold through a computer glitch.
Settled on the 308 Compact that was price matched at $359 which I fear might be too much recoil but we shall see.

Meh you bought a gun and he's going to buy it from you later. Sounds like a face to face individual sale to me. Really no different than me buying a rifle as a gift for my dad for Father's Day

130gr Barnes TTSX and a Limbsaver should serve Morgan well
Those two should tone things down some.

Bumping this back to the top for everybody. I just ordered on and they are selling these Tikkas for crazy good prices. I guess since the T3x is out they are getting rid of the “older models”. They also have a promotion where you get a badlands back pack with the purchase of a Tikka rifle.

I missed my backpack when did that start?

Ordered one yesterday, and it will be delivered to my FFL tomorrow. Two days shipped from PA...not bad at all.

And, I got the free backpack too.
