I’ve learned I don’t get near close enough to start or call enough. They way more aggressive than I am.

Hey Guys! Dave Owens here, the guy behind the Pinhoti Project. Thanks to ya'll that are following along. I sure appreciate it! No! Thank you sir! You have no idea how medicinal the project has been to folks/addicts like us who despise the end of turkey season and the onset of summer!

I call Cove for the turkey contest next year! I doubt he would join your team unless you agreed to smoke cheap cigars after the kills. Been plenty of times in our contests I would have given up a lung to have a teammate that would just post, much less hunt and actually kill a turkey. You may be on to something...I call seconds.

I appreciate all your compliments! I often need the motivation! Folks have no idea what it takes to comb through the pile of footage I collected over the season and push out these hunts. I'd say each one of those hunts has an average of 8-10 hours worth of labor in them. That's tough to do when you have a full time job. The quality will begin to fall off a bit (what little bit there was to begin with) and you'll be seeing alot more of me unfortunately. I despise solo filming and my distaste for it shows through. But in the beginning I promised to show something everyday and that's what I think I did. Hope you guys can stick around.

I know how it is editing. Its what I did for 15 years. Reviewing tape after tape for hours pulling out footage then editing it can be tedious at best. Self filming is also a pain so hats off to you there as well. Good luck and keep up the good work.

I despise solo filming and my distaste for it shows through. I volunteer as tribute/cameraman if you ever need one in north Bama or TN for next year’s Pinhoti Project II. I’ll even bring us some public land turkeys to the table! I would give Chubb’s and Squirrel’s left nuts to pick your brain a little on building and running mouth calls.
