My bride and I just celebrated 11 years of marital bliss. Left our army of littles with sitters last night and went to connors for a nice meal. And be forewarned: I weighed in yesterday morning at 238 lbs (starting weight 282) so dropping 44 lbs was a great excuse for a real cheat meal....
We started with fresh bread, Caesar salad, lobster dip and calamari. Holy cow. The bride picked shrimp and grits and I got a medium rare ribeye with creamed spinach. To cap it off they gave us a dessert of strawberry shortcake. My bride killed that so I decided to go big or go home and grabbed a cookies and cream McFlurry from McDonald’s on the way to pick up the kids. I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve been by a McDonald’s. It was heavenly...
I apologize for the lack of pics but everything was devoured before I even thought of photographic evidence for my aldeer brethren.

Ditto. Connors is the best value for a good meal in Huntsville. Thanks. That's exactly what my wife and I expressed the other night. We've been to Ruth's Chris a few times (once in Mobile, twice here) and the service has always been great but for the overall experience and $$$ I'll pick Connor's every time.
