did outstanding this year. Wife and I are canning as I type, 21 quarts so far and still cleaning more beans.

Pinkeye purple hulls did as well, almost ready to pick and freeze.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Good grief that's a lot of beans. Is that the purple pole beans?

Nothing like shelling purple hulls. I have lots of fond memories of picking and shelling through out the years. Unfortunately, I didn't make any this year. Garden as a whole didn't do to well for me this year. I bought a few bushels that were already shelled today. Nothing like having a blanket spread out on the floor covered in peas.

It be's that way sometimes.

I’ve never planted any beans or peas so I planted some running butter beans on my garden fence. About 20 hills. The 42” fence wasn’t nearly tall enough. I’ve got vines everywhere. Looks like I’ll get a couple messes though.

Nice!! My purple pole beans produced very well too; not sure how many quarts I have put up...sort of put them up all along while pickiing. I probable have about 15, not as many as you and my beans are still making!! Well done!!!
