I grilled a pack yesterday (forgot the brand) that had good texture and a casing that was truly edible (like a true sausage) but the flavor was very much hot dog. Zeigler is the go to I guess but the casing on them can be a bit chewy and stripping them out of the casing is a pain. So I ask...what brand do you prefer?

Agree the Z brand can be tough, and I like eating the casing. My MNL cooked some last week, that was a cheaper brand (Dont remember the name) but they were fine!

I hate to even ask what "meat" is in them... Similar to bologna imo Mighty fine though. I like mine on the grill, with just a little char

I hate to even ask what "meat" is in them... Dont wrinkle your nose up at them till you try them. Oh course, you will have to put your own spin on them so it will look like pheasant under glass.
