for a 30mm scope on my 300. What kind of gun is it? If you want something ugly go with the DNZ rings. Picatinny rail with 20 MOA can't is good idea if you want to shoot for distance. Talley lightweights are easy to install and are solid.

I have the standard duty nightforce rings on my LR remmy 308 and 243 with weaver 20MOA bases. They only have two screws per ring instead of 4, but I can't complain a bit with my un-magnumed calibers. Properly torqued, they have never faltered.
You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?

Zee’s with the inserts if just looking for rings but usually Talley’s if wanting a solution.

I'd get the Talley lightweights and go kill stuff.
X2
Make that 3
I mostly use Talley Lightweights but the Seekins rings are great if I just want to use 30mm rings with a rail. I think the Talley's are strong enough, though I wouldn't use them with a heavy scope on a heavy recoiling rifle. They have been known to crack at the base. I bed mine in JB Weld, which likely isn't necessary, but I think it helps reduce the flex of the base during recoil which could stress the base over time. I have no doubt that the Seekins on a good rail is a much more secure option. No matter what is used,it will work much better if properly installed.I rarely see anyone properly install mounts. IMHO mounts should be completely degreased in Acetone and all screws and screw holes cleaned and then locktighted, before being properly torqued. That's not even mentioning proper placement on the scope to prevent interfering with the erector from torque on the tube.or several other things that need to be done or checked to properly mount any scope.

I never use loctite on scope bases or screws. Light oil on the threads, precision torque in steps, alternating screws. Bases get 10, 15, 20, then 25 inch pounds, alternating screws, and rings get finger tight, 10, 15, 20, 25 inch pounds on some scopes, 8, 13, 18, 20 on others. Depends on the scope maker's numbers, but alternate between front left, back right, etc, never ending same side of same ring.
Aluminum receivers ( 10/22 ) max at 12 inch lbs on bases. Target rifles get +20 MOA bases and either Vortex precision matched rings, or recently, rings from Leapers/UTG Pro. Nice rings, made in USA
Never had one shoot loose. Did have a customer drop one once that I had to redo. I'm not doing this with a cheapo torque driver. I use a Mountz EMT50, adjustable in 1 inch pound increments from 10-50
Every job I ever had to fix that someone else messed up was related to some component being out of alignment. I've never checked a rifle with Leupold style half turn rings that had both rings square to the base.
In my opinion, the only setup that is potentially more accurate than Talley lightweights is the Conetrol system, if the installer knows what they are doing. I have installed a few, but prefer the Talley lightweights. One less connection point to come loose. All the hunting rifles I regularly use have them.
I have installed well over 100 sets of Tally Lightweights and never had a quality issue.

I used to use oil like you until I had a set of Talleys come loose a couple years ago. Switched to blue loctite on all my mounts. I do like the conetrols, and they look great. I've only installed a couple of sets and didn't find it very difficult.

Assume you meant inch lbs?

What advantage would the DNZ have over the Talley rings?
They're fuglier.
