We are fixing to see just how good of a defensive coordinator Roof was. I'm going with Auburn big. Just have a feeling. 42-10 So...if Auburn gets smashed does that mean Chizik is a chitty defensive coach? UVA 35 AUA 9

I'm worried about Auburns offensive output, but I think this one comes down to the Jimmy's and Joe's. Auburn just has more talent across the board. Low scoring game.

I was really happy with the way the defense acted during the game. I saw sparks of the swagger coming back to life. They gave up way too many passing yards, but that kind of stuff can't be fixed quickly. If Chizik can find a like minded DC they should be a much improved defense next year. I don't normally put much if any stock into a bowl game, but the spark the defense had last night should take them into spring practice with a small chip on their shoulders. Maybe it'll be a big chip by next fall.
