Is it time to give up on football and go on over to soccer?
Pros:
No helmets
No shoulder pads
No thigh and girdle pads
No goal posts.
Less lining of the field
Violent collisions less often
Unrealistic expectation fans gone
Coaches cost less

Cons:
It’s communism
Cards instead of flags
Hooligan fans
No gazzillian player roster means less title nine requirements. Sorry bout that lady’s bowling and archery

I wouldn't mind it

I wouldn't want to give up watching Bammer whip Auburn and LSU's azzes! I could care less if the spoiled NFL players had to get a real job, flipping burgers or riding a garbage truck.

Are you comparing college soccer to college football? Or pro soccer pro football?

I prefer Premier League Soccer over the NFL. College soccer is not the same as pro but do like to watch the girls play. One problem with all Football is the length of a televised game.

How is Soccer "communism"?

I think soccer is prolly fun to play. But it can be like watching paint dry to spectators.

I enjoy college lacrosse. Few if any violent collisions, but they go after each other with those sticks.

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

I tend to agree. Especially for folks that have never played. In America, even folks that haven’t suited up with shoulder pads have played football in the backyard. Not so with soccer.

The bone-crushing collisions are one of the primary reasons REAL football is so popular. I guess next they will eliminate passing?

Just do away with the pads and call it Rugby. Oh wait a minute there’s already a game like that and it is called rugby. Here’s a thought... just leave the game alone and play it as intended with bone crushing Headhunters.

Premier League is awesome................as far as the "communism" comment, a majority of people just like to say it's a communist sport because they think they're funny or clever. I think a few actually do believe it's a "communist sport", despite the fact that it is the most-played sport in the world and there are only 5 communist countries in the world right now, none of which I'd consider a "Soccer powerhouse".
