That's veryvnice Lonster. I tried the route you went initially but it didn't play out to well for me. That 8 month old gsd went to town on the wood. Heck i wrapped every piece in 1/4" hardware cloth to keep him from ripping into it like a chainsaw and he still found a way to get leverage on it and started ripping the hardware cloth off. Didn't want him ingesting any so that's why I'm going to aluminum or steel stock style indoor kennel. Heck if that dog isn't working/training every minute of the day he's bored and gets destructive.
