These dang people buying water in a bottle are way more of a problem than people using a straw. Bring back recyclable glass bottles and paper straws.

littering bastards are everywhere. I can clean up the roadside in front of my place and it is trashed within a week. When I was working I used to write every damn litterer I saw. Pisses me off.

When my grandson Dylan was maybe four he threw some trash out the truck window. I stopped and made him walk back and pick it up, then explained that only trashy folks throw trash out a car window. That lesson stuck good.

I've kept a Wal Mart plastic bag hung on my shifter or some place else in my truck for years, when it gets full just tie it closed and throw it in the trash.

I have never liked using straws and I don't throw trash any where but in the garbage, i do agree with Clem, something needs to be done about the trash pile out in the pacific, you can't tell me that we can't come up with a way of getting rid of it somehow...
