If you put it by the curb with a sign "for free" no one will take it but if you put "$20 " it'll be gone that night

I rolled a push mower out to the road last week and put a Free sign on it. Damn near caused a fight over it in 5 minutes.....who got it, which way did they go, what were they driving. Lol Next time I’m getting me a beer and a chair and watching it all.

Heck yeah. Scrap is about 8 bucks on a hundred pounds so that was around 8 bucks. I find scrap metal on our jobs and gotta stop people from stealing it until i get off work to load it up. Im in arab al this week. I had a pile on the edge of our job and we had about 5 vehicles pullin in and just started loading it. Didnt ask or nothing...just takin. We made them unload it then they act like they are mad! Like we were takin from them!

One lady was about 70 years old. Had a chevy truck loaded down and she was just riding and lookin to find it. I aint never seen so many scrappers before in one area. Looks like arab is ate up with scrappers.

Oh, Foldemup....if its a plastic shell dish washer then they wont buy it for scrap. Only metal lined ones. Someone might strip the electric motor off the bottom and get 1 buck for it.
