I watched a Glock rep at Gadsden drive over a mile with two Glocks tied dragging off the rear bumper of his car. Got to the range, cut em loose, and started shooting. Yes, they were drug loaded. No malfunctions.
Ida hit that stupid sumbitch right in the mouth. not me, he had a loaded gun in both hands.....

So, does that mean a Colt Lightweight Commander is off your list too? How about an Airweight .357 S&W revolver? Or the Lightweight S&W full sized 1911?

I carry a Glock for one simple reason, I shoot it better when under stress. Period. FTR, my Glock 22 spent an unknown number of years at the bottom of Eastlake. I replaced the springs and barrel and good as new.

No malfunctions. I hear they have one over at the Po-Po academy in Jacksonville that has never been cleaned , it has 10s of thousands of rounds down the pipe, no weapon related failures . They are trying to break it but it won't quit.

horsechitt, they don't get their damn finger off the trigger. Lack of training, practice, and concentration. This exactly. To the detractors making comments about lack of safety, a safety is a mechanical device that can fail. One of the top rules of gun safety is never put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to fire. I know what I'm talking about unlike some on this site. I was a Glock armorer and am a Glock certified instructor. It won't going bang unless you pull the trigger. I was an LEO and a law enforcement instructor experienced with Beretta and Glock neither of which has a mechanical safety lever. I never had an accidental discharge. Many a high risk traffic stop and my Glock only went bang when I made it go bang. During my time we only had 1 accident on the range due to an idiot LT not keeping his finger off the trigger. Only accident because of an idiot. Training teaches you to keep your finger off the trigger unless you're going to fire your weapon. It's not the Glock. It's the idot carrying the Glock.

Will you please explain how or why this would happen with a Glock? I am just curious. Glocks are no different than pit bulls. You never know when one will turn on you. They both oughta be outlawed. Posting for Goodman

Sounds like he's just mad because when he tries to be a BA and shoot one gangsta style, that heavy .45 brass catches him right between the eye....,and reminds him what real men shoot. BTW, there is an interesting aftermarket fix, that replaces the rear slide cover plate on the Glock. You hold it down with your thumb, and it prevents the trigger from moving rearword. Completely passive, so it is not in the system on firing. Neat solution. If I did a lot of holstering drill with a Glock, I'd think hard about it. https://taudevgroup.myshopify.com/products/striker-control-deviceRead a few years back the ALL the ADs with 1911s, when analyzed, became NDs, with on proven exception. A policemen was in an MRI lab escorting a prisoner, when they turned he machine on. It jerked the weapon out of his holster, and probably pulled the firing pin block upward, against the relatively light spring pressure. There you go, an actual AD with a 1911. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2010/01/03/dont-bring-a-gun-near-an-mri/
Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.
