It's just going to be Mrs. Irish and I and I thought it might be fun to take her out on a beat. Nothing fancy. Reasonably priced. Just to let her have an experience and catch a fish or a few.
Anybody know anyone that I should look up in that area?
Well be there for 4 days. If you just want to say you went out, then there's this. https://www.captandersonsmarina.com/But if you want a quality experience you're going to have to charter a boat or at least do a walk on trip where a charter boat captain gets two or more groups together to make up a charter. Inshore will be a little less expensive.

Or you could rent a pontoon in the bay. You're not allowed in the gulf on a rental but there's plenty of fun to be had in the bay. We have done that a few times and had a great time. Right across the little bridge from Capt. Andersons Marina is where we rent pontoons but there are others around. That is a haul from Mexico Beach.

We drive further than that to go out and eat sometimes.

Check out the Pensacola Fishing forum. You'll likely find someone with knowledge there. I don't cross the Florida line but if any of y'all come down to Baldwin County and wanna just catch fish, let me know and I'll take ya to some places if I can make it. The woman and I have been down there just about every week for the last few months fishing. We catch a bunch every time we go. Shoot me a PM.

Try Captain Jack Sanders. 850-227-5526. He is on the Cape. Think he does Bay fishing and offshore. He is from Alabama, I have not fished with him but have had friends who caught fish with him and highly recommended him. Good luck. Thanks. I'll give him a call.

My nephew caught a bunch of small sharks from the shore last year when we were there. Also, make the walk to collect sea shells. It's a pretty good walk at day break to get them but worth it. If you don't know about it, ask the locals and they will direct you there.
