Looks good - Tikkas are great rifles

Forgot to say these where 220$ a peice. Anyone who has looked for Tikka aftermarket stocks knows that's cheap. Floating recoil lug is permanently attached to stock. Aluminum skeleton in stock.

Just ordered two for $215 each........... Lovin it!

They replace the recoil lug in the aluminum block bedding.

The best part is you can get rid of the hollow stock. That thing would make a racket when you banged it on something. I have two, waiting for stockeys to get the color I want before I order my third.

Read somewhere that a Limbsaver for a Win 1300 Synthetic will fit the Tikka stock perfectly.

I got mine in today and installed it. It has an aluminum bedding block that has the recoil lug made into it. The recoil lug is the weak point of these guns. I shot the first shot and it was left. adjusted and shoot the two in the middle and adjusted again and shot the one 1 inches high. I'd say these make a good rifle better.

I got mine at Red Hawk Rifles in Colorodo 970-856-6166 $215 plus freight.

Talk to Dick.

Nice stock, but not understanding the part about the recoil lug built in. The recoil lugs on my guns are built onto my guns where the action meets the barrel.

The recoil lug is removeable. It sits in a recess in the action and a recess in the stock.

If Tikka would make a true short action and a flush magazine, I'd give one a shot.

That is a piss-poor method of locating the recoil lug.
