Somewhere in Oregon there are two hunters telling their buddies…..”It’s laying out there dead somewhere for sure….I smoked it.”

This is an incredibly stupid comment.
“These arrows are not hunting-style arrows, and they’re really intended to act like a gunshot to travel through the animal and create the most damage possible,” Raiser told The Post during a brief telephone interview. “And a legitimate hunter would never intentionally target those area of a deer to take the animal. Those are not areas of the animal that are commonly targeted.”
A. One of them is a hunting arrow. B. Target arrows are not meant to cause the most damage. C. Bow hunters don't always hit where we're aiming. There's no indication of foul play here, except for the idiot using the field point, of course.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Not true Mark, there are several here that brag about headshots. A head shot is not ethical in My opinion. I've seen deer with their jaws shot off. It's not a high percentage shot. Animals move, this is the result of a person that has no business hunting. Oh but dude its so cool to shot one in the head. Pure BS.

The first pic looks a like a botched head shot attempt the shooter should have his arse kicked. The second one could have been a bad shot. From looking the deer could have ducked a quartering away shot, or the shooter may have missed a neck shot too.

I shot one in the head once, but not intentionally. She was quartered away at 35 yards. When she dropped, she spun to her left. The arrow went over her back and hit her between the ears in the back of her head. The arrow exited through her left nostril and stuck up in the ground. She was DRT.
