Guys, sorry about not doing better this season for the Team. This was absolutely the most frustrating season I have had in 35 years of turkey hunting. Hear a bird gobble in place A (while standing in Place B), to to place A tomorrow and nothing or he is another section away. I even hunted this morning before catching a plane because I heard a new bird on Saturday. Same thing. He is roosted across a creek you can’t wade and hits the ground going the other way before I even call the first time. I toted a monkey all season long. Still fun to chase them but heck not getting to hear but one drum all year. Happy summer to y’all.

This has been my worst season in several years. Just not a lot of gobbling along with kids activities keeping me out of the woods. I still have a big trip in two weeks, so I plan on making up for such a sucky season with a week of fun!
