Shoals Outdoors has one. Also Field and Stream stores seem to keep them in stock as well.

Here is a gun finder. I had it set for the Tikka CTR but you can plug in any gun you want and it will find the best prices. Don't know why the link didn't work. Might have to copy and paste it.

Sorry to derail the thread, but field & stream is owned by Dick's. I'll never go in their stores again.

And - Every Kimber 84M Hunter I have fired (total of 4 now in 3 different calibers) has fired sub-MOA groups. Smallest was less than 1/2"

I will add that these were 3 round groups, as this is a hunting rifle, not a heavy barrel target rifle. If you fired slowly, I'm sure they would still group well.

Try to shoot one in a PRS match and you will know why the HMR would be better. Just different tools for different jobs.

Only recent postings I am seeing is one in Huntsville that he is wanting more than I will pay for a used rifle, $950 is pretty much new pricing.
My Sako buy/trade listing.
Your 308 out of Bham.

NEVER SHOP AT DICKS OR FIELD AND STREAM. THEY WANT TO DESTROY THE 2ND AMENDMENT.

The Huntsville one is the one I saw. He has it listed at 950 but he might come down. Just have to ask.

He's going to need to drop $100-150ish which isn't likely as he's got a hot rifle with supply and demand on his side. I'll just let that one ride.
I don't desperately need an HMR, need to get the Sako sold and then focus on buying unless I found an absolute no brainer of a deal.

I really appreciate that.
Ordered one a couple days ago from Kygunco for $887 shipped if I'm remembering correctly, they're backordered 1-3 months which isn't great but fine because my scope won't ship until around August.
Self induced patience lesson blush

Trying to gather the pieces(base, rings, maybe a brake?)together so come August I just piece it together

Ideally with time being on my side I would like to find a good deal on a used on.
I'll have to check out Badgers offerings.

I've been reading something about the feed ramp design won't allow you to reach the lands in these HMR's. I also read that they fixed the issue on the new pro or elite model or whatever the new upgraded model is that's going for about $500 more.

Can anyone elaborate on this issue and perhaps shed some light on it. I'm not 100% sure exactly what the issue is and why or how the feed ramp won't allow you to reach the lands.

Guess they long shot their backorder times, just received an email saying it's shipping, should have it this time next week I'm thinking.

Ordered a Talley 20MOA base. Rem 700 pic bases range from $10 for the UTG airsoft special to seemingly $110 for the super deluxe sniper wonder base.
The Talley from what I found is the cheapest 7075 aluminum base available on the market, paid $49 for mine.

For heavy recoiling guns I could see why an integral recoil lug would be good to keep the stress off the screws but a 6.5 is very minimal recoil.

What's your definition of crazy accurate?

Luvbowhunting
Can you give some actual group sizes? Even scary accurate is subjective.

So are you saying just don't ask what crazy accurate actually means?

You can ask, but you already answered your own question in your post above. Accuracy is subjective. No one has to "justify", to use a previous quote from you, just what their definition of accuracy is, to you. Benchrest accuracy, hunting accuracy or hit a paper plate at 100 yards accuracy - they're all subjective to the person behind the gun.
