Waste disposal has made many Birmingham politicians rich.
Previous mayors had kin folks who were not in the waste disposal business, yet won city contracts for waste disposal.

There was a treatment plant a few years ago that operated about a mile here from the house. The company was shipping in the solids from New York City via barge into the Florence port and then hauling it to the processing plant here in Leighton. The treated sewage solids were then used as fertilizer on the fields. Several folks here got together and put a stop to this craziness after finding out what was going on and the dangers associated with it. If you think I am kidding, just ask Matt-wthby257mag.

I am so glad it is shut down and abandoned. Talk about making a mess.

I wonder if they could load it on container ships and dump it in the Sahara.
