I love mine. Mine is a 6.5 as well Have you used yours range shooting, hunting or both so far? Only shot targets out to 600 with it so far but it's scary accurate for a factory rifle. The B14 Bergara Hunter I had in 6.5 was very accurate as well.

I probably can't justify the price difference but there is value in the upgrades. Triggertech trigger, cerakoted stainless metal are the two big ones.

Friend of mine bought one and I got to play with it a couple weeks back. Super sweet rifle. If I was in the market for a new gun I would go that route. Silky smooth action and crazy accurate. It's like a mass produced custom gun. What's your definition of crazy accurate? Luvbowhunting Can you give some actual group sizes? Even scary accurate is subjective.

Anything sub-moa is scary accurate to me with me being the guy behind the rifle.

I have one in 6.5cm. This gun will exceed your expectations. All I've shot is factory ammo so far. It is sub-moa. Mine likes the 120 eld match the best, so far. I've gotten a .764 5 shot group from it. I'm interested to see what I can get from it once I start loading for it

I don't know. I can get some pretty high expectations. Most factory rifles today will shoot sub MOA. It seems the new standard to be reached is sub 1/2 MOA which is being achieved with some higher end semi custom guns. Semi customs are in $1500-2000 range? The Ruger predator is a really great gun but the stocks are blah.

If you are talking heavier Chassis guns like the Ruger,I'm not sure about the stock as I haven't researched it as much but I hear the newest generation is much better. There is also the Tikka Tac A1 for $1500 and Patriot valley arms will soon be offering what should be a truly phenomenal precision rifle at $2K. They pulled out all the stops to put everything into the rifle that they could and meet a price point that would still qualify for production class. They went so far as to opt to put an extra hand lapping step into the barrel and omit sending it with a magazine. http://patriotvalleyarms.com/john-hancock-bolt-action/That's all beside the point I was trying to make though. I've been researching this on Snipershide for a while and it seems that the 24" CTR has been producing more 1/2 MOA groups than not. It's always a bit of a crap shoot with any production gun but the odds have been good with 1/2 MOA CTR's.

It came down to the CTR and Bergarra for me. I couldn't find the CTR I wanted and the Bergarra takes Pmags. I'm VERY HAPPY with my decision.
Also gives me a reason to get a stainless CTR in 260!!!!

You can get sub moa with most factory ammo and sub 1/2 moa with good quality match ammo or handloads. And that is in a 5 shot group. Most of these guns claiming sub .5moa are shooting 3 shot groups. I don't put too much count in 3 shot groups, I like to see nice tight 5 or more shots. Seems like it tells a little more about the rifle.
Also, you probably already know this but the bergara , even though it is in a regular stock, is actually a chassis rifle. It sits in a mini chassis. Pretty neat concept when you see an exploded view of it. Ya stock is really neat especially at the price point. I like trying new brands. Bought a Howa a while back and have been pleased with it for the money.
