Check Norther Tool and Ag Supply. Both have good deals on electric sprayers

Everything you need: Mash here

I don’t know where you are, but they have a location in Dothan.

Get a 25 gallon tank with a good pump with an adjustable nozzle, there are plenty of them if you Google "spray tanks". Be sure to clean it out every time you use it with either vinegar or tank cleaner. Gly will stop up your filter and your pump if you don't. You should be able to get a set up for about $150 or so, you can get this one from Wal Mart https://www.walmart.com/ip/Precision-25-Gallon-Spot-Sprayer/23222003 with a 1.8 GPM pump and free 2 day shipping.

Northern tool and equipment has a 26 gallon sprayer on sale for $ 199 and $ 18 to ship to your house. It is 12 volt and straps to your ATV rack , it has a 10 foot wand and will spray a 14 foot swath out the back. I just ordered one yesterday.

I've got 6 of the fimco sprayers that are not that old and I've replaced a few of the pumps and countless switches. I've got 1 of the 26 gal sprayers from northern tool that's 10 years old and well used, never had an issue with it.

I got my sprayer out this afternoon to start on some cogon and the dang pump just dribbles out water. I know I cleaned it out last Oct, the last time I used it, but there must have been some water in the pump that froze up the insides. I think I'll just get a new 25 gallon tank with a 2.2 GPM or so pump. A pump will run about $85 alone.

I bought a 25 gallon tank from the co-op back in the 90's and it's still going strong, same pump. Doesn't have a brand name on the tank. I just run some clear water thru the pump when i'm completely done spraying before putting up the tank. Never ran any vinegar or cleaner thru it.

I bought this one last year and it's a good set-up. Only negative I have is the size of the droplets. I wish it had a "finer" mist. It's nice to be able to cut each head on or off though.

Yeah those pumps ain't cheap, if one of mine goes out and it's not under warranty I just go back to tractor supply and get another whole sprayer for about the cost of a pump.

I just ordered that NorthStar sprayer I linked above. I paid for the 4 year warranty. I told the salesman I thought part of my problem with past sprayers was having a little water inside the pump that was freezing in the winter and messing up the gibblets inside. He said to run a pint of anti-freeze thru it before putting it in the barn for the winter, makes sense. I'll keep my old tank and hook up the electric fuel pump for any burning I might do.

That's what I've been doing with all mine, once all my site Prep burning is over I drain them and run some antifreeze through them. Of coarse they don't sit but a month or so and then I've got them back out for understory burning but haven't had any pumps freeze up yet. What electric pump you using for burning? I've been using airtek fuel pumps of both my power torches for the last 4 years and haven't changed them yet, I've been very pleased with them.

I just bought an electric fuel pump from the parts house. I found out the hard way that the herbicide pumps will melt up on you if you run gas/diesel thru them. I'm going to check out the airtech fuel pump if mine fails me.

I have a boom sprayer with a roller pump. I clean the tank out and drain after each use. In the fall I remove the pump, 2 strainers and the 6 way manifold and put it all in a box and bring it inside the house. I have had the same roller pump for 8 years and it works flawless if you clean it after each use and keep it out of the freeze.

NorthStar 5.5 gpm pumps are our go to pumps. Also try upgrading from 3/8 fittings to 1/2”.
