Agree or disagree? How much trouble would it be for manufacturers to put a little knurled band on end of each tube and do away with choke tube wrenches?
If you buy a used gun, or if I buy one anyway, it almost never includes the wrench. The seller can’t find it or whatever. I end up using a quarter on my 20-ga tubes. I mainly shoot 2 tubes, Turkey super full and improved cylinder. Fixing to sell my factory improved and find me a knurled one.

Having trouble finding one under $50. Dammit.
What do you use, N2TRKYS.

If it's a flush fit, I just use my thumb(the part with the finger print not the tip of the thumb) and screw it down. Obviously, this won't work if it's stuck.

I don’t use wrenches either. I always put’em with my thumb. I do remove them after I shoot a lot and clean/apply a little grease.

Me too. I can remove all mine with my thumb or by using my index finger

guys using your thumbs and fingers don't be like my neighbor, and forget to unload it. He shot half his hand off screwing in a chock with the gun loaded.

i use wrenches only now. Had one or 2 that i tightened with finger and after shooting it some it comes loose. Its a weird feeling, the last time it vibrated pretty bad when i shot buckshot through it.

Did he pull the trigger with his toe?

A wrench wouldn't have prevented that...Anytime I have to look at/work around the business end of a gun, I make DAMN sure it's unloaded.

Physically take the barrel off the stock/action is what I do. It's more work, but it's worth it.

I don't think he went by ROC unless it was a screen name. He was friends of my good friends that live next door to me. His wife worked for my neighbors law office for awhile then got a job working in the courthouse.

Yeah a gun typically won't go off until you pull the trigger...

I was wondering the same thing.
I'm actually hoping it is the same person.
Surely there isn't TWO people that flipping stupid!
Also, he admitted to loading a 3&1/2" shell in a Winchester 1300.
So he is DOUBLE STUPID.
