$1200-1500 maybe as much as $2000 to the right person. They only made 800 BAR's in .270WBY Mag. Pretty rare gun and would be a nice one to own

How hard is it to find ammo for it? Ammo is easily found but a little pricey. Ranges from $50/box for spire points up to as much as $100/box for custom hunting loads I can lay my hands on the gun right now, but he is reluctant to sell it. Would I get a definite offer at $1500? I would think so. I could guarantee it if Uncle Sam didn't have a huge tax bill hanging over my head.
