I It's pretty memorable. Its the day my wife got pregnant with our first. There seems to be some kind of correlation with snow and conception dates. I asked her did she know what happened 25 years ago. It looks like my lucky night

I had just moved from Knoxville Tn to Bushkill Pa. I had rented a cabin up in the mountains for me, the wife and my daughter. It was pretty bad up there too. We were snowed in for a couple of days but we made the best of it. I found an old piece of plywood and tied it to the back of my 4x4 and we pulled each other up and down the road in front of the house. My wife damn near killed me in one of the curves. From then on we were known around there as " them crazy rednecks from Alabama". Reputation didn't get any better when I called down to the guard shack one day and told them I was fixing to shoot me a damn bear cause it was trying to get in the house. Ah, good times.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

we were riding around spotlighting , I remember being amazed that deer were out feeding in that weather. Woke up the next morning and helped my best friend cut a tree off of his brand new mobile home, he was killed a couple of weeks later in a car accident

I had an average of 23 inches in my yard near Boaz. That was plenty to keep the roads empty for several days around there (Sardis/Whitesboro area). I just happened to have an old home painted ugly looking camoflaged Dodge truck with a significant lift and some new Q or R buckshots on it, not sure which. For three days I only encountered one other vehicle on the road. WQSB (Local radio station) was running public service announcements so I would listen for anyone around my area needing kerosene, blankets, a lift, firewood, food, or whatever else and other people would have kerosene, blankets, firewood, food, or whatever else and after I checked on my folks and neighbors I spent several days hauling people and supplies around the area. After about 3 or 4 days It became as much of a unsticking other vehicles operation as it was a hauling people/stuff operation.

I was at moms house, I made sure I dropped my girlfriend was dropped off early, I didn't want to get stuck in with her parents, which turned out good because as it turned out the next day a friend and I were riding around a a charter bus full of coeds was stuck on 65 below the bridge by his house, we about flipped out when we looked up and 3 hotties were coming across the bridge in shorts and tank tops looking for a place to buy some food and water, we had a good couple days...

I was snowed in in Winfield, AL. I made a new baby during that snow storm. 9 months later we were at the hospital with my wife giving birth to our daughter, and all of the labor and delivery rooms were full. They did a segment on the news that week about all of the blizzard babies being born.
