thank you all for the prayers. we are settled in at Children's. Daughter at least enjoyed the "fun" ambulance ride from Tuscaloosa to Bham.........full lights and sirens (I'm not sure that part was actually necessary, but I think the driver and my daughter both enjoyed it equally). Most of the "regular" docs here so far seemed to be somewhat stumped, but they're calling in a few different specialists to take a look.
Between all the testing that was done last time this came up and earlier today, they've pretty much ruled out an allergic reaction. Fortunately she doesn't seem to be all that uncomfortable right now, just annoyed more than anything.
ENT and Rheumatoid Specialists coming by in a few minutes to see where to go from here.
