I'm about to get a nap and work tonight take a nap and work again tomorrow, but I'll be off Friday. I'll be at my Lee county place trying to get to the birds before the timber cutters get to the creek bottom where they are roosting. I'll be on them all weekend weather permitting. Good luck guys.

Heard some good gobbling this a.m then got on them around 3 but they stayed 80 yards so going to roost them and sneak in in the morning

Rough morning in my part of Fayette. Heard zero! They were hot last week but nothing today. Couldn’t stay as long as I’d like so I’ll head back tomorrow.

Been having this place to myself but there were 5 others hunting today. Hopefully it will still be a good year and I have some back up places if needed

I'll be on them in the morning. My buddy killed a nice bird on our place this morning. He never gobbled but came on the run to a jake decoy looking for a fight. I know the general area a couple have been roosting so I've got my first set up planned. If it doesn't pan out It'll be run and gun till I get hungry.

Just called up a Jake. No points for him so he got a pass. Heard one gobble a couple of times a while ago might move on him soon if nothing else happens here.

Im planning on getting wet tomorrow morning. Sitting in a blind on the big field with my dad. Maybe they will want to dry off in the field before 9 when Ill have to leave.

I'm after em again today. Big difference today though. Woods ate spooky quiet. May be a waiting game today. I did pick up another piece of property to hunt yesterday. It's in a really good area. Never set foot on it before so I'll probably go ride it this afternoon.

I struck out this morning. Started out heading to a spot on my Lee county place but thought I'd hit another area before the loggers cut it. Had one gobbling early but I just couldn't get close to him for all the downed trees and tangled tops. Backed out and by the time I got in his neighborhood he wasnt cooperating. Did some prospect walking but really should have stuck to my original plan. That will be it for me till next weekend. I may go to Russell County next week.
