I finally got a chance to fishing this morning for a few hours. I caught bait pretty easy. I ancored in one spot and never moved . I caught about 40 blues. I caught one about 35-40 # about 4 over 14 and a whole bunch of 6-4 #ers. I had the whole lake to my self and watched 3 bald eagles the whole time I was there. cool watching them fish.

thanks fellas. I have three 7000's. one is on a 7'6" tiger rod. The other in on a cat max 8' rod . I mainly fish them below or just behind the boat using 3or 4 oz lead on a 3 way rig with 6/0 or 7/0 gamagatsu circle hooks or team catfish double action' s. I also use a revo winch on a 7'9" veritas mh and a Revo Toro winch on a 7' ugly stick lite for live baiting or bouncing bottom. one thing I've added to my rigs lately is the chain swivels. they have helped a lot with line twist . im a fan.

Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

Thankya I know nothing about catching big cats, do they put up a good fight? Either way, that looks fun. Yes they fight very hard. I was ancorerd 175 yards below 2 turbines running 23000 cfps so that adds to the fight and they live in current and fight it constantly so they are stout.

Good looking fishing buddy! Best part of this whole thread is the fishing dog. Nothing better than a good fishing dog.
