Completely understand that.

As for y'all saying "Should be on the license" or "Should be on the feeder" or "I scatter corn bur don't use a feeder so ..."

Y'know what? As usual, the legislators didn't ask you and don't give a chit about you or your opinions.

There was one land owner (probably more) who suggested "Permits" for feeders several years ago. Guess the legislators are seeing the dollars signs now

Boy's I believe we will all have the opportunity to be masterbaiters next fall. Not my choice but it's fixing to happen. It's gonna make a lot of folks have to find something else to bitch about next year but I'm pretty sure it's going to pass. I feel sorry for my neighbors paying that high lease because that's all they had going for them without food plots and they are fixing to find out that it ain't an advantage if everybody does it. I think the average hunter is going to find himself further behind the 8 ball but what do I know it's just an opinion. I do think they need to finish this after the feeding rule crap and the cat was already out the bag so they might as well turn everybody loose and make money to piss away. Time to feeder up and may the best baiter win. It's dang sure going to be a funny site looking down at that yellow next year for some of us.

One person in a hunting club can cause everyone to pay or have an area all to himself.

Does this bill prohibit hunting clubs from setting their own rules? If the majority of people in a hunting club do not want any feeders or corn put out on the club can't they make that a rule for the club? I know of many clubs that have rules more restrictive than the actual game laws of the state. Just because something is legal doesn't mean you have to do it.

Who says you have to look down at the yellow? Nobody is forcing you to put out corn.

Sure they can but so you think you will get 10-25 people all to agree to the same thing. Just using Adeer as an example, it looks like about a 50/50 split on the issue. A vote might go one way and it becomes club rule, but someone isn't going to be happy. Are they going to decide this before or after dues are paid? Like I said, there will be some hurt feelings over this.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

This is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Hell I hope my neighbors are pouring truck loads of corn so the damn hogs will get off my property. I don't think it's gonna change anything but putting money in their pockets when dang near everyone else is my area has been hunting over corn for years

Come on buddy I got to keep up with the Jones. Seriously your right but it's payback time for my neighbors for all these years. I'm just messing around I really could care less what happens I just heard some talk in downtown monkey town today at lunch and figured I would add my opinion with it. I don't have a dog in this fight brother.

You are getting somewhere now with the hog situation and I'll stop this is to hot of a topic to voice my true concerns for 10 or 20 years from now. I just want what is best for our states deer herd and this ain't no cure all. Dax out..

I think the fee for nonresidents should be $225.....

The higher the fee the less money folks will have to put into anything but corn and feeders and that's what's going to end up happening. We will gradually see a decrease of clubs and weekend warriors planting and improving habitat because of finances and thinking that corn is money better spent and it may very well be in certain situations. Only time will tell but I wouldn't count on that fee money going to anything to make real change for the better especially with politicians involved.

Man Texas ain't all paper companies, pines and sweetgums it's basically a different world or south Texas is anyhow. Remember a pasture in Texas is like 2000ac and where covered up with 40s. The state to compare us to is Florida mainly the panhandle when it comes to baiting as a whole.

Either way I'm good with it. I've had fun hunts in Texas. Never hunted FL but if it'll compare that's fine. I say get this thing passed and move on to more important things.

I just hope if it passes, some of the money from licensees actually gets to be used by DNR
