Found out today I will have about a 10 day chance to catch some coyotes. I can set out and my buddy is going to check them every day. I have never used peat moss for bedding. Saw in another thread that Hank uses a sand/PM mix. What does anyone else use? Do you mix it 50-50? Planning on screen wire pan covers and PM mix bedding. If it keeps raining I may end up catching yellow cats in dirt holes sets.
Don't give up, don't ever give up!

I use peat with a 50/50 soil mix and wire screens.

Dang, good catch in the back yard. Heck of a note that you have to remember where your trap is so you don’t run over it with the lawn mower. I caught one 50 yards from my parents back door a couple of months ago but they live on a farm. I’ve caught a couple of dog food stealing coons in my back yard.
Don't give up, don't ever give up!
