Any of y'all think this was a Soros/Democrat event to slow down the dossier, Nunez memo, and the other wins the Republicans have had recently?

I don't believe it, but just curious as to what you think.

I wouldn't doubt it. Too many of these incidents are perpetrated by gun hating liberals. It's no secret liberals and all their America hating causes are supported by Soros. But I think this is likely a lunatic that was ignored by every irresponsible adult he came into contact with. He could have been stopped at any of a dozen different points, the most recent being the FBI.

I think it was a mentally ill man who should have been institutionalized years ago. Unfortunately, our nation has chosen to close mental health facilities and spend the money for other things. This action is coming back to bite us in the arse.

Yep, if any of you have ever had to deal with the mental health care in this country, you know how accurate this statement is.

It seems like every one is point blame instead of calling it like it is.

If the FBI would've done their job this shucks wouldn't have happened.

I ain't talking about everyone on this site. I agree with him being mentally I'll, not have a mentor, and no one to teach him right from wrong.

I have said for along time that parenting today is a lot of the problem with society. Like most people on here, growing up didn’t involve a video game, phone or tv. It was working, chores or whatever else you were told to do. There wasn’t no staying inside. I was outside from daylight to dark. Wasn’t allowed to come in the house till dinner time. If I was too dirty to come in, mom or dad would spray me off with the water hose in the yard.

That’s the problem with youth today, their parents sit them in front of tv or whatever so they can do their own thing.

We don’t have cable at our house. My kids are outside as much as possible or helping me when I am home doing projects or just playing with them. When I am at work they help momma with the household chores. They are 6 and 4 and use manners with everyone.

Rant over for now

I would rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

It goes a whole lot deeper than "no one to teach him right from wrong". Any non-mentally-ill person, even those that are not religious, know that harming or murdering innocent people is wrong, without having to be taught. The guy is pure evil and/or mentally ill (some would argue the two are one in the same in this case, but that's another debate).

Agree. However, I do believe the Dem's would rather see America fail than Trump win.

The guy was evil and posted his intentions on the internet. The feds/local pd dropped the ball.
Now whether or not someone else was involved in allowing it to happen remains to be told so far.

There were so many people that dropped the ball on this one, that it is hard to point a single finger.

Local police - They were called ~30 times on him
School - kids warned the school
FBI - They were contacted
Big Pharma
His counselor
How was he able to purchase guns
His step parents
His real parents
HIPPA laws
Lawers that would have sued the school for trying to do something

Maybe, just maybe the FBI field officer and possibly the supervisory structure really weren't so against an incident that would ignite once again a basic part of the liberal agenda (gun control) in their continued attempt to destroy President Trump. They allowed the same type guns to walk out of gun stores in Fast and Furious knowing they were going to Mexican gangs and be used in illegal activities. Then why not allow a psychopath on drugs to fulfill his destiny in becoming a school shooter? Nod, nod, wink, wink. The left will stop at nothing to destroy the Second Amendment. The FBI has been recently proven to be rotten to the core. This would fit their method of operation perfectly.

Absolutely. I personally have arrested many people for crimes but they can not legally be put in a jail because it is illegal to hold someone that is mentally ill in a jail cell. We would take them to the county jail and they would be back out and in town before we were. It's the great dilemma. They commit crimes and are arrested but, by law, can't be held in jail if they have been adjudicated as mentally ill. The capper is that the state shut down any facility that LE had to place these people. It is a great revolving door where LE has to wait until they kill someone before it gets attention, and then their lawyer, rightfully so, will point out that they should have been given mental health treatment long ago.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The mental health system is broken and under- or non-funded in many states, which affects the judicial system, which ultimately affects the public in more ways than one.
