Very difficult subject to discuss, but fathers are crucially important. If you don't believe me, just look around. The author says it best when she says "Mothers can't be fathers".
Man, that's strongly accurate...and unpopular. Male leadership is undervalued this day and time. Whether the world likes it or not, men are to be the leaders within the home, the church and the workplace. I was surprised when a woman once told me that a department full of women runs better with a man in charge.

I am a firm believer that what our country needs the most is MEN to step up and be the MEN God created us to be.
Unfortunately we are not allowed to be the men God made us to be. Our society has effectively emasculated men. If we fight, we go to jail. If we kill, we go to jail. We give trophies to the losers, we expel bullies from school, and we reward humility. Men were meant to the warriors, protectors, hunters and leaders. The sexes are not meant to equal. Each sex has their superior strong points and each has their weaknesses. Today we exploit the sexes, both of them, and strive for the lowest common denominator.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Yes, God did design men to be warriors, protectors, hunters (providers) and leaders...very true. And yes, modern Progressive indoctrination is busy emasculating men. But that is not ALL God designed us to be. He then called us to be honorable, noble, just, righteous, loving and humble in spirit...he called us to love him with all we are and to love others like he loves us. Those things are not mutually exclusive. We can be manly men and be humble in spirit (not sinful pride) and loving at the same time. Reference: Christ. He is all those things, and we are to be imitators of Christ.
Our sin nature has allowed Satan to deceive us men into believing some false information. It is not the strength and virility of men that is missing that is causing so many problems, it is the LOVE that is missing. The "fatherlessness" situation is a reflection of men being self-absorbed and sefl-focused to the point of abandoning their role and responsibilities as a real man and father. My two cents.

As usual. Very well said. So when we men abandon our calling, who suffers? GENERATIONS! not just our life span.

It is the one thing that people that are incarcerated have in common more than any other thing. It is an epidemic in this country, mainly caused by government handouts that reward bad behavior.
