I will add this about my mercruiser, it’s a 350. It will suck down 30 gallons in a hurry if the boat is loaded down heavy. I count on $100 in fuel costs anytime I go to the lake but I do ride a lot compared to most. The motor itself has been flawless however. I had a 350 in my previous wake boat. It was fuel injected but would drink gas something awful. We traded it in last year on one that has a 6.2L in it. It has 50 more HP but gets much better fuel economy. With a 60 gallon tank we can usually ride around for 2-3 weekends between fill ups. Bigger motors in boats almost always use less fuel because they don't have to work as hard.
