I bought a MQ32 from a buddy, it was 29" draw. I changed the cam to a 30" and now it feels that the poundage is not there as before. I know it needs new cable and string. I do not have a scale to check the poundage. It is a 70# bow. I wonder if the new cam has a high percentage lett off. WOuld changing the cam have an affect on the poundage? This a bow for shooting in the backyard and backup to my Drenalin.

The MQ32 came in 70% and 80% versions. The string and cable lengths are different for the two cams.
The 70% cam calls for an 85.5" string and a 34" cable. The 80% cam calls for an 88 1/8" string and a 33 7/8" cable. Look on the 29" and 30" cams. If the ID# ends with the letters "HL" it's an 80% cam. If there isn't an "HL" it's a 70% cam. So if one cam is an 80% and the other is a 70%, there's your problem.
If that's not the case, the cam is over rotated. You'll have to put some twists in the buss cable to get the cam back to it's optimal position.

That is the problem. The 30" cam is the HL and the 29" was not. Can I just change the cable and string length since they need changing anyway?
