No, he just turkey hunts now. My uncle Mickey Hunt is over it. He's been over it a while now. We have some bruisers on the property.

Ahh!! I See,I love hunting with traditional, and primitive archery, but the no turkey rites are a no go for me,I would never invest in any club that I couldn't hunt turkeys.Take no offense please,I think you guys have a jam up property, with some sure enough studs, but I just hunt deer to pass time till turkey season. If this ever changes I would be interested!

No offense taken. And I told Matt earlier, we may have some spots open for turkey. I haven’t had a chance to talk to my uncle yet. I don't turkey hunt much is why I never think to ask about them. My passion is deer hunting. My wife is extremely supportive of it. Enough that I put at least 200 hours in a stand every season. If I started into turkey hunting religiously, she might kill me.

Anyway, the way it works is, our club dues for deer are usually around $1500. Then we have separate for turkey rights. The reason we did it that way is we have several turkey hunters there that never deer hunt. It was easier just to break up the dues. The only one was Butch and he only turkey hunts now. Actually, he has been diagnosed with cancer and with his treatments, I don't know how much he'll be hunting now. I'll be honest, and I'm a little biased but, I think we have one of the best properties in N AL. Just in terms of our management and the big deer we have. We have never had a bunch of brown it's down guys hunting that property.

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. Theres a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. Ronald Reagan

Sounds like a nice place, if I were younger and not broke I'd jump on this. Those mountains are rough on an old man grin
