The Optima is the nicer of the two. The wolf used to be their intro gun. I have an Optima, and it's a fine shooter. And it's an older model.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I have a Optima with a thumb hole stock. It is a tack driver at 100 yds.

I ended up getting a Vortek StrikerFire Backcountry last week. I just couldn’t pass up the clearance sale they had at midway on this one. Try Blackhorn 209 powder + Hornady SST-ML bullets with this gun. I had great accuracy with lighter powder loads, not so much near the max powder loads.

Looking back in my notes..... 68.2gr BY WEIGHT Blackhorn powder + 250gr SST-ML + Win209 shotgun primer gave ~1830fps in a Traditions Vortek Strikerfire with holes touching in 3-shot groups @100 yards. By volume, that powder load looked like about 100- 105 grains. With BDC ML reticle, that gets you to about 310 yards sighed in at 100. But bullet energy gets questionable past 200 yards.

Dang you, Clem! I ordered one and used a 15% off (they have a 20% off coupon also but I screwed up) coupon code for $262.57 delivered to my door. Heck of a deal! I'll now retire my old Remington 700ML
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

It really liked 110 grains volume blackhorn, 250 grain SST with a harvester crush rib sabot. Let us know how it does!
