What exactly is the difference between these two loads performance wise:


12gauge 3” 1 3/4 oz 5 shot vs 12gauge 3” 1 7/8 oz 5 shot

And one has almost 2oz of #5's or about 40 pellets. only real way to know is run em down the pipe with your choke of choice and start counting and looking for pattern density and poa/poi differences.

One has 1/8 of an ounce more shot in it. Doesn’t equate to many more shot in the number 5s.

won't know till you shoot them both. But if you can only buy one get the 1 7/8 just cause it is a bit faster. But my gun shoots 3 in shells better than 3.5 in. so bigger isn't always better.
