The official details will probably remain sketchy. Swamphunter and Hogwild called it when they both said the investigation would be a goat roping and they doubted anyone would be charged. Guy was shot by black local thugs, poaching and stealing on his land, that live in a trailer in the red creek area. Only way I see this being solved and someone convicted is if someone offers a big enough reward to loosen up the local lips. For enough cash money, they will turn on each other like rabid pitbulls That probably won't work in this situation. The only ones that know are the ones that did it. And, according to the locals, they all have the same story.......they did not do it. But, they have seen 'a white dude up outta Mobile' that had been slipping in there poaching. They are all family and VERY clannish!!!!! The LEO's know that one of them did it. BUT, without being able to prove which one it was, they have no way to make an arrest and get a conviction. I gotta admit, it would be a tough case for an LEO. But, that should not deter them from having enough of a presence there to make the lawbreakers uneasy!

Actually Perch has a great idea. We should all meet in Lower Peachtree for an aldeer redneck turkey shoot, after deer season. About 200, well armed, camo Clad rednecks with rebel flags might get the point across.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

there are several plans that would work to clean that shithole up but they are all illegal and would bring in the Feds.

I gotta admit, it would be a tough case for an LEO. But, that should not deter them from having enough of a presence there to make the lawbreakers uneasy! I hear you hog. I know that if I was going to poach, that's exactly what I'd do. I'd drive 2.5 hrs from Mobile to slip in on someone's lease in an average at best area surrounded by a bunch of inbred local dope heads that are liable to steal the axles, tires and maybe even the engine off my vehicle and I'm going to do all my poaching with a shotgun in the daylight. Yep, very plausible story. You'd think that they could have come up with something better than that. Sounds like the only way the family is going to get justice is for 30 or 40 of the guy's friends from Mobile to ride up there one night and just happen to be on his back property line target shooting a couple or 300 rounds in the woods there behind that trailer and most of them find their way into hitting that trailer. You know. His friends showed up to drink beer and have a memorial for their friend and had no clue that trailer was back there through the woods. A couple had brought guns and they started target shooting. Same situation. If they all have the same story, there is no way to know who actually pulled the trigger and shot them, on accident of course. Just a tragic accident.

I don't think a well armed, camo clad redneck with a rebel flag would be anything out of the ordinary down there ,either,

I find it difficult to believe they didn't find a shoe print that a cast could be made of on the way back to the trailer. they would see the person in the shoes afterwards guaranteed. Plus I bet there was a finger print on the shell they supposedly found.
State police need to step up and set this ship straight. Otherwise I hope everyone in the area shoots first and asks questions later with every confrontation with these baboons. You do realize that the whites are a minority in Wilcox County? You will Have a Black D.A. , black judge and all black jury when you go to trial. Years ago a white store owner was having his store burglarized several times a week. He locked up one night and stayed in the store .The burglar came back and when he broke the glass door and came inside the man killed him. The sheriff and D.A. brought it to the grand jury several times trying to get him indicted! This went on for several years trying to get him charged with murder.

Just curious, was this the one in Selma?

Or, you could hand load some shells like the one found at the scene...slap full of rifle powder. Toss a box of them jokers out in front of the trailer. I used to know a guy that did this back in the 60's when the blacks were rioting in Chattanooga. Blew up several blacks trying to shoot cops. BTW, he's in prison on unrelated charges, has been for 40 years.
